This week we celebrated the feast day of Sts. Joachim and Ann, beloved parents of Our Blessed Mother. Many of us travel during the summer to visit our parents or grandparents or to visit our children and grandchildren. What blessing and wisdom there is to be shared by our treasured grandparents. Part of the "feminine genius" John Paul II teaches about includes the gift of maternity, but when he speaks of maternity he is not limiting the experience solely to a biological reality.
